Moonrise Ridge Ranch provides a multi-phase model for the purpose of education and to bring a hands on approach to understanding the significance of western preservation through the living history of western heritage in a ranch setting. We have many different elements: Cowboys & Indians, Spanish explorations, and early pioneer settlers, to name a few. All demonstrations and presentations are interesting and geared for the target group's abilities.
Educating inner city youth, special education groups and others that can benefit from our project, is our goal. We have designed a program that everyone can learn from, at any age.
We provide opportunities, from beginning levels through intermediate and advanced, where participants learn such things as the basic care and feeding of equine, bovine and other animals raised on the ranch.

- bring awareness of western history, including cowboy poetry, music and art
- supervise rides and horse events to the general public and to educational institutions including museums, schools and libraries.
